Traditionally, San Diego's proximity to Mexico and a surplus of small assembly shops made this a difficult market for higher quality custom manufacturers. However, in the past two years this has changed. The majority of the Mexican imports are gone along with many of the local assemblers. Most that remain specialize in plastic and Chinese-made products. Elizabeth Shutters has serviced thousands of San Diego customers, most often with our classic 3 ½ inch louver shutters and traditional designs. Elizabeth Shutters' management believes the company is now the number one manufacturer of custom wood shutters for San Diego County. Over the past 13 years the company has satisfied thousands of customers in La Jolla, Lemon Grove and the city of San Diego. More recently, we have furnished many homes in North County as new developments are built along the Highways 15 and 76 corridors.
Elizabeth Shutters covers the Greater San Diego area from Imperial Beach, San Ysidro and Otay to Engineer Springs, Jamul and Poway. Further north along the coast we service the city of San Diego all the way through Solano Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside. Elizabeth Shutters also covers all of North County from Escondido and San Marcos to Bonsall, Fallbrook, Pala Mesa, Rainbow and La Jolla Amago.

I am writing this letter to inform you of how absolutely pleased we are with our new shutters. We have seen shutters in the homes of our friends and knew that one day we wanted them in our home. When we placed our order, we had expectations of what they would look like in our home. Danny was our installer and did an outstanding job. With the installation completed our expectations were greatly exceeded. I cannot express appropriately how happy we are. That Monday night my wife and I kept going into the kitchen and just staring at them. The next morning, it was more of the same, just going into the kitchen and staring in marvel at how sensational they looked. We also want to express our gratitude to our salesman, Steve Brewer.
