Delivery Guarantee

Elizabeth Shutters maintains some of the shutter industry's shortest delivery cycles for custom basswood shutters. With any custom product though, delays may occur due to finish issues, equipment failures or other events beyond our control. Customers have asked us therefore, to define our guarantees and when they apply. The purpose of this note is to codify delivery guarantees and limitations.

Elizabeth Shutters' standard, 28 Day Delivery guarantee:

We will take all professional and commercially reasonable steps to deliver orders in 28 working days, or less, from re-measure (a technical step to ensure accuracy of measure and design)
The 28 day "clock" starts the day after completion of final re-measure
Working days are Monday thru Friday, excepting legal holidays
Applies to all orders unless specifically exempted

On occasion Elizabeth Shutters guarantees delivery by a specific date. Both the 28 Day and specific date delivery guarantees assume:

Customer is reasonably available for installation and other appointments
No customer change orders requested
Deposit paid in full
Installation of any portion constitutes delivery
Customer's quality expectations are within industry norms

If a part of the order fails to meet industry or customer standards, Elizabeth Shutters will take all professional and commercially reasonable steps to re-install that part within 10 working days, subject to the above.

Delivery guarantees are subject to acts of god, war, terrorism, unforeseen loss of employees or facilities, traffic delays, delivery breakdowns and other events beyond control of Elizabeth Shutters.

In no case shall Elizabeth Shutters' liability for late delivery extend beyond 5% of the contract value of the tardy portion.
